Since the separation of Shinto and Buddha, “Yamato Takeru no Mikoto” and Nansobo have been enshrined to control luck and health. (The blue dragon is the still water of the lake and the white dragon is the river water.) This shrine is made up of a Shiraki worship hall and a shrine / end company called Kumano Gongen-sha and Inari-sha. When you visit Towada Shrine, you should not forget the place called “Oba”. “Obajo” is a rocky place facing Lake Towada, and is a place where fortune-tellers and octopus go to gain power. It is said that this place was reborn as Seiryu Gongen when Nansobo entered Lake Towada. Nansobo was a religious monk who won the battle with Hachiro Taro, the dragon god of Hachirogata, over Lake Towada. He was born in Nanbu-cho, Sannohe-gun, Aomori Prefecture and trained in Kumano, Kishu (now Wakayama Prefecture). I was told that I wanted to live in the place where the grass was cut. The place where the sandals were cut was Towada Shrine. This iron Kusanagi is dedicated to Kumano Shrine, the precinct company of Towada Shrine. In addition, the “Spirit of good luck” that continues from the “Otome no Otome” to Towada Shrine is also known as a power spot that gives us great power. It was said that if you walked along this “Lucky Path” and headed for Towada Shrine, your luck would go up.
